Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre / Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre / Bilit Rainforest Lodge / Kinabatangan River Cruise

  • Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre

    After breakfast, make way to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre in Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve.

  • Briefting

    Upon arrival, a short briefing session will be given and a short video documentary will be screened before entering the Centre.

  • Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre

    After that, make way to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to witness the smallest bears in the world.

  • Bilit Rainforest Lodge

    Travel to Bilit jetty and upon arrival, take a boat ride to Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

  • Lunch

    Upon arrival, welcome drink will be given at check-in and your lunch will be served.

  • Kinabatangan River Cruise

    In the evening, you will be whisked away on a Kinabatangan River cruise to discover wildlife situated along the river

  • Dinner

    After your river cruise, dinner will be served.

  • Night Safari Cruise

Overview

This 5 day 4 night trip will bring to explore the charms of Sandakan, from witnessing the best of Borneo's wildlife to city life. Watch those cute little sea turtle hatchlings make their way to the sea at Selingan Turtle, meet our primate friends at Sepilok Orang Utan, visit the world's smallest sun bear at Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, cruise along Sabah's longest river in Kinabatangan River and discover the intricate cave system at Gomantong Caves. Your Bornean adventure is complete with last touch of a much-needed staycation at the Sheraton Four Points Sandakan. Also, take advantage of an optional add-on tour to the Rainforest Discovery Center, Sandakan War Memorial, Agnes Keith House or just a leisurely tour around the city of Sandakan.

  • Departure time is approximate and may vary due to traffic condition and hotel distance. Kindly check with the operator as stated on the voucher should you need further assistance.
  • Check-in/out times for most accommodations are 14:00 & 12:00 hrs. However, it may vary depending on each accommodation. So kindly check with the operator to get accurate information of your accommodation.
  • Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX) of MYR 10 per room per night will be required for foreigner to be paid upon check-in. Malaysian or permanent resident residing in Malaysia are exempted and is required to present a valid identification upon check-in.

Additional Information

  • Please make sure that you have booked air tickets to Sandakan.
  • There is only 1 join-in boat transfer to Selingan Island daily at 10:00AM, so please be in Sandakan by 9:00AM for the pick-up transfer to the jetty.
  • If you cannot get an early morning flight to Sandakan, it is possible to revise your itinerary to accommodate your flight arrival time with additional surcharges. Please speak with your sales representative for more information.
  • Check with the airline schedules for the timings that are most suited to your needs.
  • If necessary, our guide will pick you up from the Sandakan Airport with a placard bearing your name.
  • Last day lunch location may vary depending on your flight time.
  • Tipping is never expected but will always be much appreciated.
