General Itinerary

DAY 1
White Water Rafting - Padas (Grade 3-4)

  • Meet at Tenom Railway Station

    Make your own way to Tenom Railway Station (estimated 3 hours drive).

    IMPORTANT NOTE: Do ensure that you reach Tenom Railway Station by 7.00AM. There is only one train and it will depart sharp on time.

  • Train Ride

    You will take a 1.5 hour train ride through the scenic countryside. Upon arriving at Rayoh Railway Station, store your belongings and suit up into your rafting gear before proceeding to Pangi Station.

  • Water Rafting

    After a safety briefing by your river guide, proceed for your water rafting! Duration of rafting may vary between 1.5-2 hours depending on the water level.

  • Lunch

    Enjoy your local style lunch.

  • Return Train Ride

    Take the train ride back to Tenom Railway Station and make your own way back to Kota Kinabalu.

  • End Of Tour

    *Departure time is approximate and varies from different operators. Your actual pick-up time will be sent to you upon booking confirmation.

Overview

Challenge yourself to Class III - IV rapids on Padas River, one of the best white water rafting destinations in Kota Kinabalu. This 9km thrill ride features 7 exciting and challenging rapids with amusing names, such as, Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid, and Head Hunter Rapid. Each rapid will surely satisfy adrenaline junkies and adventure seekers alike!

Important Things to Note

  • It is recommended to wear comfortable t-shirt & pants, sandals and sunscreen, and bring a change of clothes.
  • This attraction is not suitable for pregnant women, guests with disability, heart problems or other serious medical conditions.
  • Safety briefing will be conducted before the activity to ensure your safety
  • For safety reasons, you must put on your life jacket at all times
  • Any damage of the property caused by the guests will be charged as a replacement cost.
  • Participants must be in the age of 12 years old to 60 years old.
  • Signing of liability release form are required for all participants.
  • It is highly recommended for you to take the morning option due to weather conditions such as light rain in the late afternoon.
  • Though it is never expected, tipping is always appreciated
